Karachi population is growing rapidly & exponentially since last 02 decades and daily almost 300-600 complete families are relocating into Karachi city on different location unplanned and become engaged in many income generating act ivies to support their living, But the medical services and care is not properly provided by government instead existing government Hospital are notable to cater all the patients medical needs. Their for margin for private owned Hospital where they are given license to operate at lower profit making consideration and to contribute towards society. unfortunately all this done in wrong way.
private Hospital are looting patients and their is no proper complaining authority and no proper check and Balance is maintained by PMDC- Pakistan Medical And Dental Council after giving them licences to practices instead they give licence to kill to these doctors,
National Medical is average Hospital instead they are charging their customers equal to Agha Khan Hospital in term of Doctor Fees, medical testes, Hospitalization, even their doctor in OPD only refer medicnines that are only available in thier medical store, This Hospital is making business due to their low standards/ High price operation theater facility,
Even their emergency is charging more money by refer for unnecessary test and medicines referred from their pharmacy /store, their is Lab is marginal Lab but their charging more or equal to Agha Khan Hospital but for example for blood CP they are charging Rs. 700/- where as AKU is charging Rs. 600-1000/- where as DOW Lab is doing same test @ 300 that is equal to international standards as DOW Medical University is international accerted university and many of its quality Doctor are practicing in many international countries.
